The Morris twins will have their day in court.
Marcus and Markieff Morris each face two counts of aggravated assault and will appear in court via telephone Aug. 28, according to Sherrod Blakely of CSN Northeast.
The incident in question occurred in 2015 outside a gym in Phoenix. The victim, Erik Hood, suffered a broken nose and various abrasions after being held down and beaten by four people, including the twins.
Hood alleges he was friendly with the Morris twins but their relationship soured once the twins discovered text messages between Hood and their mother. The Morris' denied the incident and say they have no ties to Hood.
Marcus and Markieff each face a suspension and possible jail time with a conviction.
