Report: Buccaneers in talks to move back in draft, perhaps out of 1st round

Trade rumors are swirling ahead of the 2017 NFL Draft, and one team reportedly considering making a move is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Bucs - owners of the 19th overall draft pick - are in talks with at least three teams about dropping down and could trade out of the first round altogether, Schefter reports, citing a source.

The middle of the draft's first round is a coveted position, especially considering the depth of talent in this year's pool. While the Buccaneers could use the 19th pick on a top running back or a defensive difference-maker, the team may also find value in dropping back a few picks and collecting more assets from other teams.

Among the Bucs' team needs are a safety, pass-rusher, and running back, in light of Doug Martin's ongoing suspension.

The teams in talks with Tampa Bay for its first-round pick have yet to be divulged.
