Watch: Blue Jackets' Calvert breaks stick on cross-check to Penguins' Kuhnhackl

Frustration may have gotten the better of Matt Calvert near the end of Game 2.

In the dying moments of a second straight loss for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Calvert caught Tom Kuhnackl of the Pittsburgh Penguins with a dangerous cross-check from behind, breaking his stick in the process.

If that wasn't enough, Calvert gave Kuhnhackl a shove when he was hunched over in pain.

Kuhnhackl appeared to have avoided serious injury, but the NHL could very well take another look at the incident ahead of Game 3.
