News of an explosion involving Borussia Dortmund's team bus inspired AS Monaco supporters to voice their support for the hosts.
Before learning that the Champions League quarter-final match would be postponed until the following day, Monaco fans inside the Westfalenstadion began chanting "Dortmund, Dortmund" after learning that an incident involving the German side's bus had taken place just kilometres from the stadium.

It was later confirmed that Dortmund defender Marc Bartra suffered an undisclosed injury when three explosions went off near the team bus.
