Investigation: Was this an amazing save or blown call?

It didn't take long for a controversial play to pop up in the national title game.

At first glance, it seems like North Carolina touches the ball while out of bounds here, but if you look closer, it's not that clear cut. Isaiah Hicks manages to flip it back up in the air almost at the exact same time his foot hits the ground.

The above freeze frame shows Hicks' foot on the ground, though it's unclear if his fingers are still touching the basketball.

Kennedy Meeks then doesn't let Hicks' effort go to waste, diving to swoop it back in play to Theo Pinson.
