Devils mascot pranks arena staffers with elevator ambush

Prudential Center employees aren't having the best April Fools' Day.

The New Jersey Devils mascot pulled off a cruel and unusual prank Saturday morning, setting up a net in the office elevator and then peppering unsuspecting coworkers with slap shots when they reached their destination.

We just hope those weren't real pucks.
