2017 NFL Mock Draft 4.0: Picks 21-32
21. Detroit Lions - O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
Defense is a priority, but it'd be tough to criticize a value move that puts the Detroit offense through the roof. A top-10 talent in a stacked class, Howard's complete skill set makes him the best tight end prospect in recent memory.
22. Miami Dolphins - Kevin King, CB, Washington
Bolstering the secondary should be priority No. 1 after the Dolphins couldn't do a thing to stop Pittsburgh in the first round of the playoffs. King is a top talent who has incredible athleticism to go with his 6-foot-3 frame.
23. New York Giants - Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
New York can't afford to wait much longer to plan for the post-Eli Manning era. With a complete roster in place, taking advantage of Watson's tumble and securing a possible franchise quarterback is a no-brainer.
24. Oakland Raiders - Budda Baker, S, Washington
The Raiders need secondary help in the worst way. Baker, whose skill set and positional versatility draw some justifiable comparisons to Tyrann Mathieu, would be an instant upgrade alongside 2016 first-rounder Karl Joseph.
25. Houston Texans - Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
The offensive front will be key for Houston's chances of contending with Tom Savage at quarterback. Robinson could be a Day 1 starter on the right side before eventually stepping in for Duane Brown as the long-term left tackle.
26. Seattle Seahawks - Garett Bolles, OT, Utah
Seattle finally makes the right move and invests in the offensive line. Bolles will need to add some size to his relatively slender frame, but his athleticism makes him the perfect fit for Tom Cable's zone-blocking scheme.
27. Kansas City Chiefs - Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech

Alex Smith hasn't been able to take this Chiefs roster where it's capable of going. In seeking out his eventual replacement, Andy Reid and Co. should jump at the chance to develop a player with Mahomes' rare arm talent.
28. Dallas Cowboys - Obi Melifonwu, S, Connecticut
Much like 2015 first-round pick Byron Jones, Melifonwu is a supremely talented athlete capable of playing several positions in the defensive backfield. Why not double down in addressing a porous pass defense?
29. Green Bay Packers - Forrest Lamp, G, Western Kentucky
Moving on from both Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang over the past two offseasons is a significant step in the wrong direction on the interior front. Lamp fills that void in a big way, keeping the Packers' offensive line strong across the board.
30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU
Pittsburgh took defensive backs in each of the first two rounds last year, but the need remains such that another premium selection is entirely reasonable. White could be a No. 1 cornerback that also mans the slot in nickel sets.
31. Atlanta Falcons - Takkarist McKinley, EDGE, UCLA
A crushing Super Bowl LI loss can serve as example A, B, and C as to why Atlanta needs to get Vic Beasley some help in the pass-rush department. McKinley would give the Falcons an explosive pair of bookends.
32. New Orleans Saints (via NE) - Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
The Saints finding a pass-rusher and a starting cornerback with their first two picks has to be the hope. Humphrey joining Delvin Breaux, and possibly Malcolm Butler, is a quick fix for a once-awful secondary.
