The basket interference on this play Saturday couldn't have been more clear to Northwestern head coach Chris Collins, but the officials missed it - and then assessed him a technical foul for running onto the court to argue.
Collins was right, but it cost his team two points as the Wildcats desperately tried to overcome what had once been a 22-point deficit against No. 1 Gonzaga. Instead of Northwestern cutting the Bulldogs' lead to just three, Gonzaga pulled ahead by seven following the free throws.
