The Edmonton Oilers captain picked up his 21st goal and 70th point of the season Sunday against the Nashville Predators, getting the Oilers on the board 5:23 into the match.
McDavid is three points ahead of Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby and five above San Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns for the NHL lead.
