Watch: Koivu scores off Wild bounce for 600th career point

Marilyn Indahl / USA Today Sports

A measure of good luck was on Mikko Koivu's side.

In search of his 600th career point, the Minnesota Wild captain gathered the puck off a fortunate bounce off the side of the net and scored on the Nashville Predators to hit the milestone.

Koivu is the fifth player from the 2001 NHL Draft to record at least 600 career points, following Jason Spezza, Ilya Kovalchuk, Jason Pominville, and Mike Cammalleri.

He also continues to cement himself as the greatest player in franchise history.
