Playing in his first game this month after a string of healthy scratches, Devante Smith-Pelly rewarded the New Jersey Devils with an early breakaway goal against the New York Islanders.
Smith-Pelly was inserted into the lineup in lieu of Mike Cammalleri, who was watching this one from the press box after being scratched by head coach John Hynes.
