Simeon Rice upset at snub from HOF snub list
With all the talk about players like Terrell Owens and Brian Dawkins being left out of the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame class, one potential future Canton member can't believe he's been snubbed from the snub list.
Former 12-year NFL defensive end Simeon Rice hasn't even be named a finalist for the Hall of Fame since retiring in 2007. Despite ranking 19th on the all-time sack list and sporting a pretty solid resume, Rice isn't getting much Canton consideration and he's heard (or hasn't heard) enough:
I keep hearing about snubs @ProFootballHOF I have been Rookie of year Pro Bowler All Pro Super Bowl champ fastest to 100 sacks & no HOF #SMH

All I here is win championships because of Legacy well I have had a legacy took at team to Super Bowl was All Pro Rookie Year still No HOF

Talk about Hall of Fame I'm wondering when you are going to put me in Rookie of the Year All-Pro most avg sacks per game Super Bowl Champ

Rice had similar complaints after being left out of the 2016 class as well, claiming "there's no Hall of Fame without me in it."
Given Rice's lack of finalist appearances, he may never see his bust in the Hall of Fame. but you can't blame him for trying.
