An exhausted LeBron James was brief in his postgame interview having played 79 minutes in back-to-back nights.
But James did catch himself before reporters turned off the mic. James ended his press conference Thursday night by showing his support, once again, for New York Knicks legend Charles Oakley.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I missed one. Oakley for president," James said, according to Sam Amick of USA Today.
James voiced his support for Oakley shortly after the ex-Knick was tossed out of Madison Square Garden by a phalanx of security personnel. James called the fellow Cleveland native a "legend" on Instagram.
Oakley later revealed that James was one of many players who reached out to him following his MSG fracas and arrest.
