Sometimes when you're playing against LeBron James, you need to just close your eyes and hope for the best.
After a spirited comeback had brought them to within five points in the final minute of a game they'd trailed the Cleveland Cavaliers by as many as 27 points Saturday night, the New York Knicks did about all they could to get a stop. Willy Hernangomez and Kristaps Porzingis collapsed on LeBron as he drove to the hoop and left his feet, and Porzingis looked poised to swallow up whatever wild attempt he threw up.
Instead, LeBron spotted Kevin Love in the corner through a thicket of arms, whipped the ball over his head, somehow eluded a leaping Porzingis, and hit Love for a wide-open dagger three.
