Nate Robinson wonders why PG-needy Cavs won't contact him

The reigning NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers have plenty of depth at the wing positions, and enough talent in the frontcourt - especially in the stretch-big department - that there's no urgency to add another 4 or 5.

The one area in desperate need of some fine-tuning is backup point guard, which LeBron James has stated is something the team needs to address.

Nate Robinson is looking to find his way back to the NBA, and would certainly help fill the void Cleveland is trying to fill. Too bad they're not calling, though.

"Yeah, but I don’t understand why they wouldn’t hit me up. I don’t know why they don’t like me, man. I’m the most hated," Robinson said in December to Hype Beast's Robert Marshall.

Now 32 years old, Robinson is making a strong push to have one of the Association's 30 teams give him a shot at cracking a roster, recently showing off his training regimen on Instagram.

A 10-day contract to test the waters appears to be his best bet, with the Philadelphia 76ers reportedly having him on their "scouting radar" to help improve their own issues at point guard.

"I’d play on any team: Philly, Cleveland, Thunder, even the Warriors need scoring off the bench. I’ll go anywhere, it doesn’t matter," Robinson added.

Robinson spent 11 seasons playing for eight teams before being waived by the New Orleans Pelicans in 2015. Following a failed attempt at an NFL career, the former Slam Dunk contest champion took his talents overseas to compete in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.

He averaged 11 points and three dimes in 618 NBA games.
