The murder case against former WWE star Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka has been dismissed, according to Sarah Cassi of lehighvalleylive.com.

Lehigh County Judge Kelly Banach filed the decision Tuesday afternoon, dismissing charges of third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter against Snuka in the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend, 23-year-old Nancy Argentino.

Banach ruled Snuka incompetent to stand trial in June.

"The Court is satisfied that the defendant remains incompetent and the Court is satisfied that the defendant will not regain competency and that it would be unjust to resume the prosecution," Banach said in her order.

At a Dec. 2 hearing, Snuka's wife, Carole Snuka, testified that her husband is in hospice care and is receiving morphine injections and other drugs to ensure he's "medically comfortable."

Snuka's attorney, Robert Kirwan, said he met with the judge earlier Tuesday to give an update on Snuka's medical condition. He said Snuka could die within the next six months if his health continues to worsen.
