New York Rangers forward Matt Puempel is out indefinitely after being diagnosed with concussion symptoms, the club announced Tuesday.
Puempel was claimed by New York from the Ottawa Senators in November for added forward depth.
After going pointless through 13 games in Ottawa, Puempel has recorded five goals and one assist with the Rangers.
