Jamie Benn sidelined at least 1 game with foot injury
A foot injury suffered by Jamie Benn will force the Dallas Stars captain to miss at least one game, that being Wednesday against the Montreal Canadiens.
Benn remains listed as day-to-day, and although it doesn't sound too serious, head coach Lindy Ruff is playing it safe with his team not set to play again until Saturday.
"This is a situation where it’s our responsibility to keep him out," Ruff said, per Sean Shapiro of Wrong Side of the Red Line. "He could probably play, but to what effect he would be and where he would be in a couple days would be a big concern of ours."
Here's what the lines could look like in his absence.
