Sean Payton has heard plenty of rumors about his job security over his tenure with the New Orleans Saints and he's done talking about it.
After it was reported that Payton met with general manager Mickey Loomis Sunday to discuss his future with the team, the veteran coach confirmed the two met, but it was nothing out of the usual, calling the speculation "completely false."

Payton didn't totally shut down the possibility of him leaving the Saints in some scenario, but declined to comment on other specific reports.
"We're not gonna address rumors, reports," Payton said, via ESPN's Mike Triplett. "If we answered those every time, it would be silly."
