Devils' Moore diagnosed with concussion following hit by Wilson

New Jersey Devils defenseman John Moore was stretchered off the ice Saturday in the first period following a hit from Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson.
New Jersey has placed D John Moore (concussion, suffered 12/31/16 vs. Washington) on Injured Reserve.

Wilson drove Moore into the end boards from behind, but there was no penalty on the play.
Moore appeared to be talking to trainers while on the ice, and will be released from hospital Saturday evening, Devils head coach John Hynes announced, per Tarik El-Bashir of CSN.
