Brady meets young cancer patient with No. 12 engraved on skull
Prior to Monday's Baltimore Ravens-New England Patriots game, ESPN aired a powerful E:60 segment about a 10-year-old Connecticut boy named Logan Schoenhardt and his special bond with Tom Brady.
Logan was first diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 3, and has undergone multiple surgeries, radiation treatments, and chemotherapy rounds since. Before undergoing his sixth brain surgery in March, Logan asked his doctor if he could have No. 12 engraved on the side of his skull.
The doctor agreed, and word eventually got back to Brady, who reached out to Logan with words of encouragement.
In September, Logan's family received the devastating news that his tumor had returned and there was nothing more doctors could do. Logan made a bucket list for himself, and on Dec. 3, he got to cross off his No. 1 wish: meeting Brady.
