Charles Barkley slams Warriors: 'I'm never gonna like that girly basketball'

Charles Barkley has never been shy about towing the line of what's acceptable basketball banter, and the Hall of Famer was back to his old tricks Thursday night on TNT.

The irony of Barkley ripping "girly basketball where you have to outscore people," of course, is that Barkley, himself, was never known as a defensive stalwart.

Barkley has repeatedly criticized the Golden State Warriors over the last couple years, often mentioning the fact that jump-shooting teams can't win championships - blatantly ignoring the team's record-breaking success over the last three seasons and its often elite defense.

Through nearly a quarter of this season, the Warriors have supplemented their historic offense with a top-eight defensive efficiency.
