Buffalo Bills receiver Sammy Watkins returned to the practice field Thursday, but multiple reporters noted that he was only moving at half-speed during the portions open to the media.

After playing in his first game since Week 3 last Sunday, Watkins was absent from Wednesday's practice due to soreness in his foot, drawing plenty of concern. The team's No. 1 receiving weapon has battled foot problems all year and had an extended stint on injured reserve to rest and let the foot heal.

Fans can at least take some comfort from the fact Watkins is back at practice, but it appears his status merits watching for the rest of the week, and perhaps the remainder of the season.
