Report: Noel continues to seek trade from Sixers
Nerlens Noel's days in Philadelphia could be numbered.
Given the Sixers' current logjam in the frontcourt, the 6-foot-11 big man would still prefer to be traded at some point this season, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.
Noel has yet to play a game this season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery last month, but will likely have a tough time finding minutes when he eventually returns to the Sixers' rotation.
His name has been floated in trade rumors over the past several months. Noel was reportedly "very open" to a trade last August, with the Boston Celtics a possible destination.
After failing to agree on an extension prior to the Oct. 31 deadline, the 22-year-old is set to become a restricted free agent at the conclusion of the 2016-17 season.
Noel averaged 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.5 blocks in 67 games for the Sixers last season.
