Washington quarterback Jake Browning was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year on Tuesday, while USC defensive back Adoree' Jackson earned Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Rounding out the individual awards were Colorado head coach Mike MacIntyre, who was named Coach of the Year, and USC quarterback Sam Darnold and Washington defensive back Taylor Rapp, who were named offensive and defensive freshman of the year, respectively.

Browning threw for 3,162 yards and a school-record 40 touchdown passes with just seven interceptions. He ranked fourth in the FBS in pass efficiency, and also set a school record for passing touchdowns in a game, with six against Oregon.

Jackson was already named a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award honoring the nation's top defensive back, as the USC star had 51 tackles and four interceptions to go with 11 pass breakups and two fumble recoveries.

Darnold took over as the starting quarterback in the Trojans' fourth game of the season, leading USC to an 8-1 record the rest of the way, while Rapp started in seven games for the Huskies and finished with 42 tackles and two interceptions.

MacIntyre turned the Buffaloes around from a 4-9 record - 1-8 in conference - a year ago, to 10-2 and 8-1 in 2016, leading to a South Division title. Colorado will play Washington in the Pac-12 Conference Championship game Friday.
