Leading by 21 points in the fourth quarter, the New Orleans Saints dialed up the old wide-receiver-pass-to-the-running-back for a touchdown.
The wholly unnecessary play put the Saints up on the Los Angeles Rams 49-21. Perhaps there was extra motivation for New Orleans. After all, the Rams do employ former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, the man who was accused of leading the bounties that resulted in the year-long exile for head coach Sean Payton.
