Arizona Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson has been fined $2,000 as supplementary discipline under NHL Rule 64 (diving/embellishment), the league announced Thursday.
Ekman-Larsson, who received a warning following an incident Oct. 5, was fined as a result of a play that drew a minor interference penalty to Nashville Predators forward Kevin Fiala on Nov. 3.
If found guilty of breaking the rule again, he'll be on the hook for $3,000.
