Value Rankings
QB | RB | WR | TE
Top Options
NAME | OPPONENT | PPG | SALARY | VALUE |
---|---|---|---|---|
Le'Veon Bell (PIT) | vs. NE | 18.7 | 79K | 10 |
Jacquizz Rodgers (TB) | at SF | 6.1 | 25K | 10 |
Melvin Gordon (SD) | at ATL | 16.1 | 66K | 9 |
James White (NE) | at PIT | 9.2 | 49K | 9 |
Mike Gillislee (BUF) | at MIA | 5.6 | 25K | 9 |
Devonta Freeman (ATL) | vs. SD | 14.0 | 69K | 8 |
DeMarco Murray (TEN) | vs. IND | 19.3 | 84K | 8 |
With QB Landry Jones starting in place of Ben Roethlisberger (knee) in Week 7, expect Bell's usage to soar against the Patriots. While New England has been building large, early leads with QB Tom Brady back in the fold, Bell will be used in all game scripts. He may be the only fantasy option from the Steelers' offense this week. Rodgers has a dream matchup this week.
There should be plenty of running between the Chargers and Falcons, with three elite running backs and two porous rush defenses involved. Gordon comes slightly cheaper than Freeman, and he won't be splitting his carries with anyone of importance. Expect White's role within the passing game to continue to grow, but don't expect another two-score game.

Jeremy Hill (CIN) | vs. CLE | 8.5 | 51K | 5 |
Matt Asiata (MIN) | at PHI | 6.6 | 36K | 5 |
Matt Forte (NYJ) | vs. BAL | 11.7 | 53K | 5 |
Frank Gore (IND) | at TEN | 12.7 | 57K | 5 |
Time shares harm the total values of the Chiefs, Falcons, Jaguars, Browns, and Bengals running backs, but they all have favorable enough matchups for both backs to have reasonable floors and high upsides. Ware's strong Week 6 performance will see him keep the larger portion of the workload in a great matchup, but Charles should continue to increase his workload.
Washington isn't yet a safe option, but even in a time share his matchup is favorable enough to allow for quality production from the FLEX position. Hill, Asiata, Forte and Gore will all need to score TDs in order to return value.

Bobby Rainey (NYG) | at LA | 5.4 | 36K | 1 |
Rashad Jennings (NYG) | at LA | 6.3 | 39K | 1 |
Sproles is far more appealing than Mathews in a tough matchup, but neither is worthy of consideration unless there are no other options. Booker will have his breakout game at some point, but owners shouldn't be trying to guess when it will come. A tough is Week 7 matchup is a highly unlikely time.
Pay no attention to the Giants' backfield. No one has safe, and no one has the upside to even warrant a flyer. Fade Michael in the toughest matchup he has seen yet this season.
