If you're going to run onto the field of play during a baseball game, maybe don't do it when Angel Pagan is patrolling left field.
One fan learned that lesson the hard way Friday night at AT&T Park, where he was treated to a massive bodyslam from the San Francisco Giants' veteran outfielder after storming the field in the top of the fourth.
"I was just trying to protect myself and protect my teammates. The guy was getting closed to my teammates," Pagan said. "I guess it was very explosive. Us athletes, we've got that kind of strength. ...It worked."
As Giants broadcasters Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow were quick to point out, Pagan was a boxer in his native Puerto Rico. Don't mess with him.
