Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP
Top Options
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Buster Posey (SF) | vs. LAD | 9 |
Tyler Flowers (ATL) | vs. DET | 8 |
Posey has a hit and an RBI in four of his past five games. For his career, the steady San Fran backstop has hit .313 against lefties at home and is 3-for-5 against LHP Rich Hill. He comes at a cheaper price than usual.
Flowers has a hit in eight of his past 10 and multi-hit efforts in two of his last three. He's fared much better at home this season, hitting .305 with a .856 OPS.

Mid-Tier Targets
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Gary Sanchez (NYY) | vs. BAL | 7 |
Evan Gattis (HOU) | at LAA | 6 |
J.T. Realmuto (MIA) | at WAS | 6 |
Sanchez has demolished righties in his brief MLB career. Baltimore RHP Yovani Gallardo owns a 5.63 ERA and 4.58 BB/9 this season.
Gattis is a strong tournament option with 32 homers on the season and five in his past 10 games. Though his power drops away from Houston, a matchup against SP Daniel Wright makes up for it. The rookie righty has served up seven homers in 33 2/3 innings.
Realmuto is a completely different hitter away from his pitcher-friendly home ballpark. Outside of Miami, he has hit .358 with a .858 OPS this season.

Nothing to See Here
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Salvador Perez (KC) | vs. MIN | 3 |
Jose Lobaton (WAS) | vs. MIA | 3 |
Sandy Leon (BOS) | vs. TOR | 2 |
Lobaton has assumed the catching duties in Washington with Wilson Ramos out for the season. Unfortunately, Lobaton doesn't offer much offense despite a cheap DFS price. The 31-year old is a career .226 hitter and won't be going deep anytime soon.
