There are flops, and then there's what happened in Saturday's Florida -Tennessee game.
In the fourth quarter, with the Volunteers leading the Gators 31-21, Florida wide receiver Brandon Powell was ejected for punching Rashaan Gaulden. Thing is, there really wasn't much of a punch.
Powell appears to make slight contact with the facemask, but then Gaulden does a straight up WWE-style sell job, nearly flipping his way down to the ground.
In addition to the ejection, Powell will be suspended for the first half of Florida's game against Vanderbilt next week, but that penalty could be rescinded by the conference after review of the deplorable dive.
Not surprisingly, Twitter had a lot of fun with the play.
Quite possibly the biggest flop there ever was or will be https://t.co/MvDYW4tAwe

Thank you, CBS, for exposing the chicken flop by Tennessee. Brandon Powell deserves better. #NotAPunch
