Jacob Markstrom got the start, while Jhonas Enroth is serving as the backup.
Markstrom appeared in six games for Sweden at the 2016 World Championship, recording a save percentage of .896.
Sweden boasts one of the best defensive corps in the tournament, but a loss to Russia would certainly spell trouble with regards to advancing to the semifinal round.
