Zimmer still won't name Vikings starting QB before game time

Mike Zimmer won't be influenced by any pressure from media or fans about his starting quarterback.

Just like Week 1, the Minnesota Vikings head coach isn't planning to name his starter prior to game time for their second contest of the season.

"You'll have to wait until Sunday," Zimmer told media when asked who will start against the Green Bay Packers, according to the official team transcript.

He tightened his lips even more, stating "No comment" when probed if he himself knew who the starter would be.

The Vikings managed to pull out a win in Week 1 despite shaky play on the offensive side of the ball against the Tennessee Titans, but will need a better performance to get past the Packers.

Either Sam Bradford or Week 1 starter Shaun Hill will get the call Sunday as the Vikings play their first regular-season game in their new stadium.
