The Los Angeles Dodgers have yet to determine whether Yasiel Puig will return to the majors next month when rosters expand.

"We haven't decided that yet," manager Dave Roberts told reporters Saturday.

The Dodgers demoted Puig to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Aug. 2 after the club became tired of both his poor results on the field and his attitude.

It was reported earlier this week that the first-place Dodgers are unlikely to recall Puig despite showing signs of improvement and that the club is trying to trade him as he's considered "toxic" to the team.

Puig acknowledged at the time of his demotion that he needs to be a better teammate and improve his on-field performance in order to rejoin the Dodgers, and his first month in the minors has been encouraging.

Roberts said that Puig is playing well in Triple-A and that he's received good reports surrounding the outfielder's attitude. In 15 games, Puig is hitting an impressive .386/.435/.667 with four homers and just six strikeouts in 15 games.
