Buffalo Bills linebacker Manny Lawson was arrested for disorderly conduct and domestic violence in February of 2014 in Scottsdale, Ariz., public records obtained by Tim Graham of The Buffalo News revealed.

The charges against Lawson were apparently dropped after he reached a plea deal and entered a diversion program.

Lawson is reportedly facing a one-game suspension for a domestic violence incident, but it's unclear if the punishment was handed down for the 2014 arrest.

The 32-year-old Lawson and his agent have denied the report, with the linebacker telling reporters Wednesday that he had no idea where it originated from.

The Bills said they, too, have yet to hear anything from the NFL about Lawson's suspension.

If Lawson's suspension is for the 2014 arrest, it would be the second recent ban imposed by the NFL for an old incident.

New York Giants kicker Josh Brown's one-game suspension was reportedly for a domestic violence arrest that occurred in May 2015.
