New England Patriots defensive end Rob Ninkovich is scheduled to have an MRI to determine the severity of a triceps injury suffered in practice Tuesday, reports ESPN's Mike Reiss.
The 32-year-old Ninkovich was listed as the starting left defensive end on the team's first official depth chart and will likely be replaced by Chris Long while he awaits the results of his MRI.
The veteran lineman hasn't missed a game since 2009, having started every regular-season Patriots game since 2011.
Earlier in practice, receiver Julian Edelman left with a foot injury and was attended to by medical staff.
