Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Senquez Golson has suffered a Lisfranc injury that could force him to miss 12 weeks, according to Aditi Kinkhabwala and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The 23-year-old picked up a mid-foot injury at practice Monday and was sent for further evaluation.
Golson was a second-round pick last season, but missed the entire year with a shoulder injury he sustained in training camp.
He was expected to compete for the No. 2 cornerback job in a rebuilding secondary, but this latest injury might set him back until the end of October.
