Young fan hangs with Pirates after sitting through 18-inning game

Ah, to be a young baseball fan.

Four-year-old Nick, a devoted Pittsburgh Pirates fan, became famous during his team's victory in Washington on July 17 after his emotional reactions to both Daniel Murphy's game-tying ninth-inning homer and Starling Marte's game-winning blast in the 18th frame made it on the team's broadcast.

Nick stayed at Nationals Park for all 18 innings that afternoon, and his patience was rewarded by the Pirates on Tuesday, who made him their special guest at PNC Park for their contest against the Seattle Mariners. He was given the full VIP treatment, which included a chauffeured ride into the stadium, visiting the clubhouse, and even playing video games with his favorite players.

Tuesday's game starts at 7:05 ET, which means Nick will have to stay up way past his bedtime if they play 18 again. We're guessing he wouldn't mind that.
