OKC store sells Durant Thunder jerseys for 48 cents
Kevin Durant Oklahoma City Thunder jerseys aren't exactly a hot commodity these days in the Sooner State.
An Academy Sports and Outdoors store in Oklahoma City has priced down the uniforms at an incredible discount, selling them for a measly 48 cents.
A replica jersey normally goes for $69.99, with the final discount rounding out to roughly 99 percent off.
"We didn't buy any. We were pretty upset with Durant," Keith Brooking, a 47-year-old year old man from Altus told ESPN's Darren Rovell.
Elisa Hasbrook, a spokeswoman for the store, told Rovell that the jerseys were more "steeply discounted than normal," although other items featuring Durant's likeness were normally discounted.
The four-time scoring champion signed a two-year, $54.3-million contract with the 73-win Golden State Warriors this summer, after spending the first nine years of his career with the Thunder.
