MLS announces 2016 All-Star team roster

Major League Soccer announced Sunday the full 26-man roster for the 2016 MLS All-Star Game, with head coach Dominic Kinnear rounding out the fan-selected XI and commissioner Don Garber's two selections with 13 more players of his choosing.

Colorado Rapids midfielder Jermaine Jones, and Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey were added to the team, as was Montreal Impact winger Ignacio Piatti and Chicago Fire rookie defender Brandon Vincent.

Garber used his two "commissioner's picks" earlier in the day to add FC Dallas attacker Mauro Diaz and Real Salt Lake defensive midfielder Kyle Beckerman to the team as well.

The All-Star team takes on Arsenal on July 28 at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, Calif.
