Wolfsburg has ruled out selling Julian Draxler this summer, with the club's sporting director insisting the German player will "100 percent" be with the club when the Bundesliga season kicks off.

Sporting director Klaus Allofs is standing firm on his stance to retain Draxler, who joined Woflsburg from FC Schalke 04 last season, after the German midfielder was linked with a move to Arsenal.

"With Julian Draxler it will be 100 per cent like this," he told German website Sport1. "He will stay. There is no discussion."

Draxler, 22, scored five goals and provided five assists during his first season with Wolfsburg. He also play an important role in Germany's Euro 2016 campaign before the country was eliminated by hosts France in the semi-finals.

However, Allofs admitted there's more of a chance Andre Schurrle will depart the team this summer after the winger informed the team that he's interested in a move to rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Schurrle's agent spoke publicly about his client's eagerness to join Dortmund, who may have to pay up to €30 millin to secure the 25-year-old's services.
