Chris Williams' unstoppable start to the 2016 season is now the best in league history, as the Ottawa RedBlacks wideout set the new record for most receiving yards through three games.
The 5-foot-9, 155-pound Williams entered Friday's game against the Calgary Stampeders just 121 yards shy of Alfred Jackson's record of 483 yards receiving through three games. With quarterback Trevor Harris' help, Williams laid waste to that mark, completing the task in style on his third touchdown catch of the game. Williams now has 493 yards through the first three weeks of the season.
It's not just the yardage that's impressive for Williams, who is also finding the end zone at a ridiculous pace thus far in 2016. After scoring just five touchdowns in 2015, he already has six through three games.
