Kante, Rami to miss France's quarter-final match after bookings

France advanced to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016 on Sunday, but the stressful comeback victory came at a cost, as Didier Deschamps will be without the services of tackling machine N'Golo Kante in his team's next match against either England or Iceland.

With his side down 1-0, the midfield terrier picked up a yellow card in the opening half of the clash with Ireland, a booking that will see him suspended for Les Bleus' next contest.

The diminutive Leicester superstar was booked for a silly challenge on James McClean, sticking out his leg needlessly to take down the Irishman.

Additionally, France will be without defender Adil Rami, who also picked up a yellow card in the match, and will thus be suspended for the quarter-final.
