British football disappointed by EU separation
The United Kingdom voted to separate from the European Union in a historical referendum that reached its result Friday morning.
Considering the leave camp, which was fronted by former London mayor Boris Johnson and others, only won with a 52 percent majority, it was an outcome that has divided a nation.
Here is how some British-based football luminaries reacted to the news:
Feel ashamed of my generation. We've let down our children and their children.
