Report: Indians interested in acquiring Jay Bruce

The Cleveland Indians have had a rough year when it comes to the team's outfield, but the club is looking to circumvent its poor luck with the possible addition of one of the National League's hottest hitters.
Cleveland is interested in acquiring Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jay Bruce, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
The Indians are currently included as one of the teams on Bruce's no-trade list, but Rosenthal speculates a "financial inducement could entice him to waive his no-trade protection."
Cleveland's playing without prized outfielder Michael Brantley due to injury, while Abraham Almonte and Marlon Byrd continue to serve suspensions related to performance-enhancing drug use.
Bruce was nearly dealt to the Toronto Blue Jays as part of a three-team trade involving the Reds and Los Angeles Angels last February, but a medical issue with one of Toronto's players halted the deal. The right fielder's hitting .285/.336/.594 with 16 home runs and 55 RBIs.
