Watch: Herrera flips 2nd out of inning into stands

Whoops.
Odubel Herrera's going to hear about this one from his teammates for a long time. With his Philadelphia Phillies down big to the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday, the center fielder casually hauled in a lazy fly ball from Michael Saunders, flipped the ball into the stands, and jogged off the field.
There was just one problem: It was only the second out of the inning.
Herrera's error gave Edwin Encarnacion two free bases, and led to three more Blue Jays runs. The visitors eventually walked away with a 13-2 victory.
Next time he does this, Herrera should remember to go grab the ball back from the fan who catches it, a la Larry Walker.
