Orlando City SC announced Tuesday that it will commemorate the victims of Sunday's horrific mass shooting when the club hosts the San Jose Earthquakes on June 18.

An American-born attacker killed 49 people and injured 53 at an LGBT club in Orlando. It was the deadliest mass shooting by a single gunman in U.S. history.

"Our city has endured dark moments in the past couple of days following two horrific acts of violence, and we are looking forward to using the influence of our sports team to bring some positivity into people's lives," club founder and president Phil Rawlins announced Tuesday.

"We are in the midst of tirelessly working to create a memorable gameday experience to honor the memories of our brothers and sisters on Saturday."

The second-year MLS outfit is paying tribute to the victims as a joint venture with other teams across Central Florida, including the Orlando Magic, and will be selling T-shirts with proceeds benefiting the city's OneOrlando Fund.

Details for purchasing the T-shirts can be found here, with 100 percent of the funds going to the charity that assists the needs of the local community on the heels of the shooting at Pulse nightclub.

In addition, a permanent memorial will be installed in Section 12 of the club's new stadium which is set to debut in 2017, which rainbow-colored seats representing each victim. Orlando City SC has also vowed to become co-title sponsors of Orlando Pride Week.
