A video purportedly shows English supporters hurling punches and kicking others on the ground, leaving them in an unconscious position.
Another shows police deploying tear gas to control the crowd, although it's not certain what exactly triggered the violence. Marseille's hardcore fans, as well as some of the travelling Russians, have been suspected of launching unprovoked attacks.

Like Friday, when nine people were arrested, fans also responded by throwing bottles at security forces marching toward them. Shards of glass and rubbish were left on the ground after police broke up the crowds.
