Odds slashed for Giggs to be appointed Bolton boss

Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs could end a 28-year association with the club to fulfill his managerial dream, prompting odds for the Welshman taking over Bolton Wanderers to be cut considerably.

New Red Devils' boss Jose Mourinho was believed to be keen on retaining the services of the United and Premier league all-time record appearance holder, albeit in a lesser role as the Portuguese sought to bring in trusted deputies Rui Faria and Silvino Louro to Old Trafford.
