The San Francisco Giants have spoken amongst themselves about making a run at one-third of the New York Yankees' three-headed monster.
The Giants have internally discussed the possibility of going after left-hander Andrew Miller, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
Miller, Dellin Betances, and Aroldis Chapman form one of the most daunting bullpens in baseball with their overpowering fastballs.
New York sits six games out of first place in the American League East, but Miller has been dynamite. He owns a 1.25 ERA over 21 2/3 innings while notching 40 strikeouts in 22 appearances.
Miller would be a great fit for the Giants, though the Yankees will likely have to give up top pitching prospect Tyler Beede, according to Rosenthal.
